Apple silicon Macs on macOS 27 or later with Apple Intelligence turned on. Brivi uses Apple’s on-device models, so Intel Macs can’t run it. ### Does anything I say or see leave my Mac? No. Speech recognition, cleanup, summaries and answers all run locally. The only time your data moves is iCloud sync to your own iPhone, if you turn it on. ### Do I need an account to buy? No. Checkout asks for your email, billing details and card. Your license key is emailed to you and shown after payment, and that key is all Brivi needs. ### Is it always recording my screen? Only when you switch capture on, and you can pause it from the menu bar any time. It reads the front window every few seconds, keeps a text summary and throws the image away. Password managers, secure input and private browser windows are skipped, and you can exclude any app. ### Does it work in Hindi? Yes. Switch the engine to Whisper in Settings and Brivi transcribes Hindi, English and mixed Hinglish, plus 90+ other languages.
