Act 01Web and product

UI and UX design that Indian users get on the first try

Brand Bakery designs clear, usable interfaces for Indian startups and small product teams. You get user flows, wireframes, a clickable prototype, visual design for phones and desktops, accessibility checks and developer-ready specs. Before any code is written, we watch real people try it. Pricing is shared after a short call.

Build: one layout, every screen

Act 02Is it for you?

Who this is for

Made for

  • Founders with a product idea who need screens to show users, partners or investors
  • Teams whose app or dashboard confuses people and loses them halfway
  • Businesses planning a web app that need the flows designed before developers start
  • Anyone whose site looks fine while visitors still fail to find what they came for

Not the right fit

  • Anyone who wants a pretty mockup with no thought for how it works
  • Native mobile app design, which we scope separately on a call
  • Teams that cannot connect us with a few real users or customers to learn from

Act 03Deliverables

What you get

Written into the scope before we start, so nothing is a surprise at handover.

  1. A short research summary: who uses the product, what they need and where they get stuck
  2. User flows and a simple sitemap for the journeys in scope
  3. Wireframes of the key screens, reviewed with you before visual design
  4. A clickable prototype you can test on your own phone
  5. Visual design for phones and desktops, on your brand or a new one we define with you
  6. Accessibility checks: contrast, text size, touch targets and keyboard use
  7. Developer-ready specs with states, spacing and behaviour, and organised design files

Act 04Process and timeline

How it rises

  1. Learn

We talk to you and, where possible, to your users, and watch where the current experience loses them.

  2. Map the journeys

We draw the paths people take and decide what each screen has to do.

  3. Wireframe and prototype

A clickable prototype of the key flows lets you react to how it works, before anyone debates colours.

  4. Test with real people

We watch a handful of users try the prototype and fix what confuses them before development.

  5. Design and hand off

We finish the visual design for phone and desktop and give developers specs they can build from.

How long it takes

Timelines depend on how many flows and screens are in scope and how quickly feedback arrives, and are agreed in writing before work starts.

Act 05Concept demo

What it looks like

A staged ui and ux design project for an invented brand, so you can see the kind of work before you brief us.

Concept demo

Ledgerly, invoicing for small businesses

Design the path from "create invoice" to "paid by UPI" and test it with real users before anything is built.

01 / 01User flow, wireframes and final screens, with what testing changed

A concept we made to show the work, for a brand that does not exist. Client work is under Examples.

Ledgerly UX board with a user flow, three greyscale wireframes, three polished mobile screens and sticky notes from usability tests

Pricing

On request, shared after a short call

Building the design in code is a separate web app or website scope. Paid test participants, stock and font licences are billed separately. We do not promise a specific lift in sign-ups or sales.

Act 08Questions

Asked often

Straight answers. If yours is not here, ask it on the enquiry form.

What is the difference between UI and UX?

UX is how the product works: the journeys, the steps and whether people can finish what they came to do. UI is how it looks and feels on screen. Good products need both.

Do you design for phones first?

Yes. Most Indian users reach products on a phone, so we design for small screens first and then adapt up to tablets and desktops.

Can you improve an interface that already exists?

Yes. We start by finding where people get stuck, then fix the biggest problems first instead of redrawing everything.

Do you test designs with real users?

Yes, wherever we can reach a few of your real users. Even a handful of short sessions on a prototype shows most of the problems worth fixing.

Will the design be accessible?

We design for readable text, clear contrast, large touch targets and keyboard use, and we record the checks. Accessibility is built into the design from the first wireframe.

Can you also build it?

Yes. Design and build can be one scope or two. If another team builds it, they get specs with states, spacing and behaviour.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is shared after a short call. It depends on the number of flows and screens, and is fixed in writing before we start.
