Act 01Web and product
Web apps and MVPs for Indian founders and businesses outgrowing spreadsheets
Brand Bakery designs and builds web apps and MVPs for Indian startups and small businesses: customer portals, ordering systems, owner dashboards and internal tools. You get a tightly scoped first version, working and tested software on modern hosting, and the code and accounts in your name. We build the smallest useful thing first. Pricing is shared after a short call.
Act 02Is it for you?
Who this is for
Made for
- Founders who need a first version in front of real users before raising money or hiring a team
- Small businesses ready to move orders, bookings or follow-ups off WhatsApp and spreadsheets
- Owners who need a dashboard to run their own operations
- Teams with a prototype that now has to become something people rely on
Not the right fit
- Native mobile apps for the App Store and Play Store, which we scope separately on a call
- Marketplaces or platforms that need a large team and a long build
- Anyone who wants a fixed price with no scope discussion
Act 03Deliverables
What you get
Written into the scope before we start, so nothing is a surprise at handover.
- A one-page definition of the problem, the users and what the first version includes
- A clickable design of the key flows, agreed before code is written
- A working app with sign-in, a database and the screens in scope
- Automated tests for the parts that handle money, orders and data
- Hosting on infrastructure in your name, with a staging copy for safe changes
- Admin tools so you can manage content and orders without calling a developer
- Source code, documentation and a handover walkthrough
Act 04Process and timeline
How it rises
Define the smallest useful version
We work out who uses it, the one job it must do well, and what can wait for version two.
Design the flows
You click through the main journeys on a real link before any build begins, while changes are still cheap.
Build in steps
We build in short stages and show you working software, on your own phone, as it grows.
Test the risky parts
Payments, orders, permissions and data get automated tests and a manual walkthrough before launch.
Launch and hand over
We go live with you, move any existing data safely, and explain how to run and extend it.
The smallest useful version is built in stages, and dates are agreed in writing before work starts. For reference, the BiteSquare ordering site and owner app were built in stages between April and October 2026.
Act 05Concept demo
What it looks like
A staged web apps and mvps project for an invented brand, so you can see the kind of work before you brief us.
Ledgerly, invoicing for small businesses
An MVP for an invoicing app: send an invoice, chase it and see what has been collected, on one screen.
A concept we made to show the work, for a brand that does not exist. Client work is under Examples.
Pricing
On request, shared after a short call
Hosting, databases, payment gateway fees, SMS or WhatsApp fees and third-party services are billed by the providers and shown separately. Changes after launch are agreed as a plan or a new scope.
- ScopeAgreed in writing before work starts
- TaxBrand Bakery is not registered for GST, so invoices carry no GST.
- DatesAgreed with you in writing, before work starts

Act 08Questions
Asked often
Straight answers. If yours is not here, ask it on the enquiry form.
What is an MVP?
A minimum viable product is the smallest version of your idea that real users can use and react to honestly. It is built to learn fast, and it is meant to be incomplete.
What have you built that is like this?
For BiteSquare, a cloud kitchen, we built an ordering storefront and an owner app with a catalogue editor, offers, a live order queue and analytics. It has 190 automated tests.
What technology will you use?
Whatever suits the job and your team. Our recent builds use Next.js, with databases such as Postgres and hosting on Cloudflare. You get a plain explanation of every choice.
Will I own the code?
Yes. The source code, database and hosting accounts are in your name, and everything is documented so another developer can pick it up.
Can you take over an app that someone else started?
Often, yes. We review the code first and tell you honestly whether to continue with it, repair it or rebuild the weak parts.
Do you build mobile apps?
We build web apps that work well on phones. Native iOS and Android apps are outside this service, and we will tell you on the first call if your idea needs one.
How much does a web app cost?
Pricing is shared after a short call. The cost follows the scope of the first version, which we fix in writing before building.
