Act 01For clinics and healthcare

An AI receptionist for clinics that answers in the middle of OPD

For clinics, dental practices and specialist centres, Brand Bakery sets up an AI receptionist that answers every call and WhatsApp message your front desk cannot. It says it is an AI, books the consultation with the right doctor, sends reminders and passes anything medical to your staff. ₹9,000 a month, never tied to patient numbers.

AI Receptionist, ₹9,000 a month. 1,000 minutes included, then ₹7 a minute.

Act 02How patients reach you today

The phone rings when the front desk is busiest.

Patients find your number on Practo, Google or your website and call. They do it during OPD hours, when your front desk is checking people in, or late at night when a toothache or a skin worry finally gets the better of them.

A call nobody answers becomes a booking at the clinic down the road. Questions about timings, fees and which doctor sits when pull the receptionist away from the patient standing in front of them.

  3. WhatsApp messages answered a day late
  4. Booked patients who forget, and slots that sit empty
  5. No record of who called and what they needed

Act 04Hour by hour

A shift at your front desk

An illustration of how the receptionist works for clinics and healthcare, not results from a client.

  1. 10:20 am

OPD is full and the phone rings for the fourth time in ten minutes. The receptionist answers, says it is the clinic's AI assistant, mentions the recording and asks how it can help.

  2. 10:24 am

The caller wants an aligner consultation. It books Thursday at 6 pm with the orthodontist in your calendar, and sends the clinic location and consultation fee on WhatsApp.

  3. 1:05 pm

A caller describes sudden chest pain. The receptionist does not advise. It tells them to call emergency services or go to the nearest hospital, and alerts your staff.

  4. 9:50 pm

A patient calls after closing about a root canal. The receptionist answers timing and fee questions from your approved list and books the morning slot.

  5. Next day

A patient who missed yesterday's consultation gets one WhatsApp offering two new slots. The doctor sees a clean list at 9 am.

Illustrative Times, names and events are examples of how the employee works.

Act 05Booking and hand-over

What it asks. When you take over.

Questions it asks to book

  1. Which treatment or doctor they are calling about
  2. New patient or returning, and which doctor they saw before
  3. Preferred branch, day and time
  4. Whether they want an in-clinic or online consultation
  5. Whether they know the consultation fee
  6. Insurance or cashless questions, noted for your staff

A person steps in when

  • Any question about symptoms, diagnosis, medicines or reports
  • An emergency: it points the caller to emergency services and alerts staff
  • Treatment plan costs that need a doctor's assessment
  • A complaint, a billing dispute or an upset patient

Rules it never breaks

  • Says it is the clinic's AI assistant at the start of every call, and again whenever asked.
  • Announces at the start of every call that it is recorded.
  • Never gives medical advice. Symptoms, medicines and reports go to your doctor or staff; emergencies are pointed to emergency services.
  • Never asks patients for reviews, offers discounts or runs promotional messages, in line with the NMC guidelines of 6 October 2026.
  • Handles patient data under the DPDP Act, with a data processing agreement in your contract.

Act 07Questions

Asked often

Straight answers. If yours is not here, ask it on a call.

Will it give medical advice?

Never. It books, reschedules and answers timing and fee questions you approve. Anything about symptoms, medicines or reports goes to your doctor or staff, and emergencies are pointed to emergency services.

How is patient data handled?

Under the DPDP Act, with Brand Bakery acting as your processor and a data processing agreement in your contract. It collects only what a booking needs.

Can it book into our clinic software?

That is part of the setup. We connect it to the calendar or practice software your front desk uses today, and it answers the number you list on Practo, Google and your website.

Will patients know it is an AI?

Yes. It says it is the clinic's AI assistant at the start of every call, with the recording notice, and again whenever someone asks.

Does it fit the NMC advertising guidelines?

Answering calls, booking and reminders for booked visits are patient service, not advertising. For clinics and doctors we set up only the receptionist: no ad campaigns, review requests, discounts or promotional messages, which the National Medical Commission's guidelines of 6 October 2026 restrict. The fee is flat and never tied to patients. This is a plain reading, not legal advice.

What does an AI receptionist for a clinic cost?

₹9,000 a month with 1,000 minutes of calls included, then ₹7 a minute. It is a flat fee, never linked to the number of patients, enquiries or bookings.
